1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using SSLForLife ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
SSLForLife provides a platform for managing SSL certificates for websites. We facilitate the issuance, renewal, and management of SSL certificates through Let's Encrypt and other certificate authorities. The Service includes:
- Certificate issuance and management
- Domain verification services
- Certificate renewal notifications
- Dashboard for managing multiple certificates
- API access (on applicable plans)
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use our Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. SSL Certificates
5.1 Certificate Issuance
SSL certificates are provided through third-party certificate authorities, primarily Let's Encrypt. We facilitate the issuance process but do not guarantee certificate availability or issuance timeframes.
5.2 Domain Verification
You must verify ownership of domains before certificates can be issued. You are responsible for completing the verification process according to our instructions.
5.3 Certificate Validity
Certificates are valid for the period specified by the certificate authority. You are responsible for renewing certificates before expiration. We provide renewal notifications but are not liable for expired certificates.
5.4 Certificate Installation
You are solely responsible for installing certificates on your servers. We provide certificates and installation instructions but are not responsible for incorrect installation or configuration.
6. Payment and Billing
6.1 Subscription Plans
Our Service offers various subscription plans with different features and limits. All plans are billed monthly in advance unless otherwise specified.
6.2 Payment Terms
You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription plan. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. All fees are non-refundable except as specified in our Refund Policy.
6.3 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price changes affecting their current plan.
6.4 Failed Payments
If payment fails, we may suspend your account until payment is received. We are not responsible for any service interruption due to failed payments.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by SSLForLife and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SSLForLife shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SSLForLife and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.
11. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All data associated with your account may be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SSLForLife operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association, except where prohibited by law.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SSLForLife regarding the use of the Service.
